ஆஸ்கார் தமிழனின் எல்லா புகழும் இறைவனுக்கே

தமிழா தமிழா நாடும் நம் நாடே…..
என்று தன் இசைபயனத்தை ஆரம்பம் செய்த இசைப்புயல் ரஹ்மான் இன்று அதை நிருபித்துள்ளார். இன்றும் இந்திய சினமாவிற்கு வெறும் கனவாகவே இருந்த ஆஸ்கார் விருதிதினை ஒன்று அல்ல இரண்டை பெற்று தந்த அந்த ஆஸ்கார் தமிழனின் புகழை சொல்ல வார்த்தை இல்லை.. ஆஸ்கார் மேடையில், அதுவும் தமிழில் “எல்லா புகழும் இறைவனுக்கே” என்று தமிழில் கூறிய அந்த மாமனிதனை உளமார வாழ்த்துகிறேன்.
It’s good news that A.R.Rehman is now winner of two Oscars. India has a lot of talent that Hollywood is recognizing and being generous about. We can definitely say that this is the beginning of a prosperous influence of Indian and American Cultures – a fusion if you can call it that. I wish A.R.Rehman more awards in future, and India more opportunities in developing music and film technologies to benefit the world.
