Send scraps to all of your orkut friends at the same time

Sunday, December 9th, 2007

Want to send a scrap to all of your friends in orkut at the same time? There is no such an option in the orkut. You have to scrap one by one which is so tedious if you have lot of friends. Here I have a script to do that… Just you have to paste the script in the browser window and hit enter when you are in the orkut site.

I did not write that script, so no questions regarding the code…. I just taken that script in net and checked the code if it is malicious. Found no cookie tracking… Just edited the code to ensure the security and hosted in my server… So feel free to use that… Also I welcome the feed backs regarding this from the peoples who can double check the script.

Source file is at http://www.cpraveen.com/orkut.js

Get the the details on how to use it from my orkut community http://www.orkut.com/CommunityJoin.aspx?cmm=42711522

Important:

Do not use any scripts until you are aware of the source. There are lot of malicious scripts floating in the internet claims to be a great handy for using orkut.. But when you use such scripts, your cookie will be tracked to hack your account. If it happened, you will no longer have access to your orkut account. The hacker may play with your friends as you doing. You cannot recover it back and it is not that much easy.

Enjoy scraping with your friends…… Use orkut safely…

Withdraw paypal balance to Indian banks

Paypal - Indian bank

Hello Friends,

Cool news for all the Indian $$$ makers, at last paypal announced an option to withdraw the paypal balance to many Indian banks. I am sure it’s a great thing for the Indians who were getting funds in paypal account and did not have good solution to cash it in INR (Indian Rupees).

Earlier there was only one option for paypal Indians. Have to request paper check from paypal when the balance reaches $150 and have to wait for months and months for the arrival of postman (of course Indian postal delivery is too fast). More than all, there is no assurance that the check will at least arrive after the long time waiting. I have heard and read that so many peoples never received the checks even after many months. They did not even have good responses from paypal customer care for this. But any way, finally they could have got.

How it would be to the persons when they do not see their balance in paypal account and also did not receive it in paper check even after many months after withdrawal request. It’s really hard moments till it is refunded to the paypal account or receives a new check. Thank god! I did not request any checks from paypal as I was waiting for the convenient options.

Other options from the thirds parties like xoom to withdraw the paypal funds are not affordable to the peoples who have had little paypal balance. Just think, will you spend $12 dollars as fee to receive $50? Finally we got solutions from paypal itself.

The announcements on paypal withdrawal to Indian banks are follows:

  • Withdrawals Rs 7000 and above are free of cost and there is no additional fee. But withdrawals below that will have Rs 50 as fee which is really affordable.
  • The transfer should take between 5 – 7 working days (business days) after the request.
  • Indian Banks supported for paypal withdrawals: State Bank of India, Bank of India, Canara Bank, Union Bank of India, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, ING Vysya Bank, Axis Bank (formerly UTI Bank), Standard Chartered Bank, HSBC Bank and CitiBank

How to with draw found from paypal account to any of the above Indian bank?

  • Indian Financial System Code (IFSC) of your bank. This would be an 11 -digit code with the first four characters representing the bank code, the next character is a control character, and the last 6 characters identify the branch. You can get the IFSC codes of all banks and branches – Click here to download IFSC code.
  • You’re Bank Account Number (the full number most probably a 12 digit one). Be assured that your bank account name should match the paypal account holder name.

I just added my account bank account to my paypal account but still did not request withdrawal. Just saving my $$$ for futures…. :) Post your experience on comments if you have used this new option.

Hello Friends!

Thursday, December 6th, 2007

Hai Friends, this is Praveen Kumar C. A 22 years old guy from Salem, the mango city of tamil nadu, India. To be frank, I am not a good writer, so sure may not be a good blogger :( . I see lot of peoples write some thing what they know and what ever they want to convey to the internet audience. Even i was interested in blogging a year ago and opened a account in blogspot with lot of spirits. Seems itz just a day interest. I laugh at my self now. I still have only one posts which i scribbled on the first day i started that account :) , December 2006 – exactly a year ago.

Then you may ask why this blog now? yea, no special reason, i just had a spark at this mid night of Dec 07 – 2007. Registered a domain cpraveen.com a hour ago before writing this, installed wordpress, configured every thing and started the blog with great confidence. But finally when it asked me to write the first post i was blinking. every thing ready, but what to write? I am asking my self, why this? what you going to write and what you going to achieve?

I answered my self, I was interested in internet and web technologies from the age 14 when i was studying S.S.L.C. Had lot of dreams to hold the computer in one hand and dollars in another hand. I still remember the first dream which internet gave me, i wanted to a build a big sites like rediff.com (i thought they are the only big portals in internet at that age). Participated in affiliate programs and reselling programs, $ account was raising like any thing but when i requested pay out, they closed my account. First time i was cheated by my dream machine. Could not bear the cheat at the age of 15 when i was flying in $$$ dreams..

What you will do when you get some money at that age? When i get little little bucks, I will just save till my saving reach 50 to 100 bucks and straight away to internet cafe.. I even used to cut the classes for internet, that is the way i addicted to internet. On curiosity, I designed ugly web pages and hosted in free servers. I used to speak with my school friend that i am a great webmaster to whom doesn’t even know the internet and websites. I thought it was a great work coz i used to get mails from abroad Tamil peoples appreciating those ugly pages. I even got free domain for token of internet friendship from a NRI.

Days rolled by, years rolled by, Every thing is happened 7 years ago. I did not even have own computers at that time… Now itz different… Now i send mails from mobile and receive it my PC. I cannot be just be a normal internet audience. I should not. Have to scribble some thing what i know. I am just one among billions of internet users, I love internet, I learned lot from it, also earned some thing from it. So should not be as a usual net surfer. I have to leave my foot prints in a page among the trillions. I know this first post is bla bla bla. As i told you i am not a good writter, i am learning to write, right from this. I hope i will see at least one fan for my blog on next year same day.

Cheers,

Praveen Kumar C
